CHRIS BATES RACING 

After a few seasons competing in Compact Speedcars, Chris was offered a drive in a LATE MODEL owned by fellow LATE MODEL driver Geoff Phillips.

After a cautious start at the first meeting in Maryborough, Chris was quickly on the pace.

After a few meetings as a driver a deal was done to purchase the car and engine from Geoff.

 Chris will drive the ex Spry farms, Rayburn in the remaining rounds of the "EXTREME MOTORSPORTS AWESOME THUNDER SERIES".

As always Chris will be supported by long time sponsor,  Guy Cartwright from GCRT in Gladstone.

During the off season Chris married his fiance Stephanie on 23 May 2009.
